Hyunchul Kwon holds a doctoral degree from ETH Zurich, where his Ph.D. explored a novel method for creating composite components through the integration of robotic multi-material 3D printing and computational design. He earned a Master of Architecture (Distinction) from The Bartlett, UCL, and later lectured there. His work has been exhibited internationally at the Vitra Design Museum, Zaha Hadid Design Gallery, MAK Museum Vienna, Design Museum Gent, Design Exchange in Toronto, the 2017 Seoul Biennale, and more. Since May 2024, he has been a postdoctoral researcher at CREATE SDU, focusing on 3D construction printing.
